Minitab Simul8® Support is now available through the Minitab Solution Center Support site. Find the same trusted guidance in a refreshed experience with improved organization, easier navigation, and clearer categorization.
Minitab Simul8® is now available through the Minitab Solution Center for Simul8 License Portal subscriptions, enabling teams to use process simulation to evaluate changes and understand system impact before implementation.
Quick Build lets you create simulations by entering process details into four clear, structured tables instead of drawing flowcharts or writing logic. Define arrivals, activities, routing, and resources, and Minitab Simul8 automatically generates a working model. This streamlined approach makes it easier to get started while guiding you through the core elements of a simulation as you build.

Use the new guided templates in Minitab Simul8 to run simulations based on realistic production scenarios. Each template walks you through a clear modeling approach—from defining the process to interpreting results—so you can evaluate bottlenecks, capacity constraints, investments, staffing changes, and quality improvements with confidence.

Simul8 licensing is now managed through the Minitab License Portal, so you can use your organization's sign-in credentials to access Simul8 more quickly.
For administrators, the Minitab License Portal provides a centralized place to manage Simul8 licensing and single sign-on. If your organization uses other Minitab solutions, you’ll now see Simul8 licensing alongside them in the same portal. For more information, Contact Minitab.
Use Minitab Connect integration to import prepared data from Connect into Simul8 internal spreadsheets. After you set up a connection, you can refresh the data in your simulation without manually reformatting or reimporting files. You can also publish simulation output data back to Connect, where it can be used in dashboards, reports, or further analysis.
This integration is useful when you want to run a simulation repeatedly with updated operational data, such as current order volumes, staffing levels, demand data, or process performance measures.
