Overview for Analyze Factorial Design

Use Analyze Factorial Design to analyze a designed experiment. You can analyze four different types of factorial designs:

2-level factorial design
General full factorial design
Plackett-Burman design
Split-plot design

You can analyze your design after you create or define a factorial design and add at least one response column in your worksheet.

For example, a group of engineers wants to investigate the effects of three factors on the warping that occurs in copper plates. After the engineers collect the data, they enter the response data in an empty column in the worksheet and analyze the design.
