- The reference part must have a known standard measurement
- A single reference part is measured by a single operator several times to evaluate the repeatability of the measurement system. You must know the actual measurement of the reference part.
- You should have 50 measurements for an adequate study
- Minitab requires a minimum of 10 measurements to calculate the repeatability and bias statistics. However, for an adequate study, you need 50 measurements.
