Specify the default settings for file locations and language

Specify the default folders for opening and saving Minitab files and for storing macros. You can also change the language of Minitab. The changes you make to the defaults remain until you change them again, even after you exit Minitab.

Default file location

Specify the default folder for saving and opening Minitab files.

Macro location

Specify the default folder for storing Minitab macro files. If you store your macros in this folder or subfolders of this folder, you won't have to specify a path when executing them.

Language (Choose the language and then restart Minitab.)

If your computer contains multiple language versions of Minitab, you can select a different language.

To apply this setting, close and re-start Minitab.
