Clipboard access for web app

If you want to cut, copy, and paste from another application into the Minitab web app, you must modify your browser's settings to allow Minitab to access the clipboard.

Chrome

  1. In the Minitab web app, click the ellipsis (...) in the upper right corner in Chrome and click Settings.
  2. Click Privacy and security.
  3. Under Privacy and security, click Site Settings.
  4. Under Recent Activity, click https://app.minitab.com.
  5. Scroll to Clipboard. In the drop-down list, choose Allow.

Edge

  1. In the Minitab web app, click the ellipsis (...) in the upper right corner in Edge and click Settings.
  2. Under Settings, click Site permissions.
  3. In the Site permissions list, scroll and click Clipboard.
  4. In Allow, click Add.
  5. In Site, enter https://app.minitab.com and then click Add.
  6. Verify that https://app.minitab.com is now listed as an allowed site.

Safari

When you use Safari, you have to allow allow pop-up windows from the Minitab web app. After that, you will be prompted with a popup message when you paste from another application.

  1. Select Safari in the upper left corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Websites.
  4. Select Pop-up Windows.
  5. Select Allow for app.minitab.com.
