Specify the default interquartile range box end points and width, and whisker display on a boxplot. The changes you make to the defaults remain until you change them again, even after you exit Minitab.
Interquartile Range Box Endpoints
Quartiles: Use the 1st quartile (25th percentile) for the box bottom and the 3rd quartile (75th percentile) for the box top.
Hinges: Use hinges for the box bottom and top.
Percentile: Use percentiles for the box bottom and top. Enter a number between 0 and 50 for the percentile.
Whiskers
None: Don't display whiskers.
Show: Display whiskers.
Box width proportional to sample size
Make the width of each box proportional to the square root of the number of observations in the box.
