Minitab AI

Minitab AI is available in the web app to generate key insights about your analysis results or guide you to an analysis or visualization.

The Minitab web app enables Minitab AI If your subscription includes Minitab AI. Simply select the Minitab AI button

before or after you conduct a statistical analysis.

Choose an analysis or visualization

You can use the Minitab conversational interface to help you choose an analysis or visualization. Select the Minitab AI button to open and close the Minitab AI pane. Enter your request and select Send .

Use the following tips when sending prompts to Minitab AI.

Tell Minitab AI what you want to learn or accomplish.
Prompts in English give the best results.
Be as clear as possible in your prompts.
Use a series of smaller prompts instead of one complex prompt.
If you need more detail, ask step-by-step questions.
Give a 'thumbs down" to provide anonymous feedback that indicates the Minitab AI was not helpful.

Generate key insights about your analysis results

After you perform an analysis, Minitab AI transforms your results into clear, easy-to-understand natural language summaries. Minitab does not use or save any user input or AI-generated output. To have Minitab AI summarize your results, select the Minitab AI button in the output pane, or copy and paste your output into the conversational interface in the Minitab AI pane.
