You can save statistics from your analysis to the worksheet so that you can use them in other
analyses, graphs, and macros. Minitab stores the selected statistics after the last
column of data. The names of the storage columns end with a number that increases as you
store the same statistic multiple times.
Random Forests
® models,
MARS®
models, and TreeNet
® models allow the storage of solutions in a
new worksheet.
- Save the best K solutions to a new worksheet
- Select this option to store the predictor settings and composite
desirability values.
- K =
- Specify a positive integer to store 1 or more solutions in a new
worksheet.
- Worksheet
- Specify a name for the new worksheet. The analysis stores the
solutions in the new worksheet.
All models allow the storage of desirability values for settings in the active worksheet.
- Composite desirability values for these settings
- Store the composite desirability values in the worksheet.
- Variable
- Shows the names of all the variables in your model. This column
does not take any input.
- Column
- Enter the column for each variable that contains the input
values for the calculations. By default, Minitab lists the
columns that you used to fit the model. Each column must contain
the values for one variable. All columns must have the same
number of rows. For a continuous variable, the column must
contain numeric or date/time data. For a categorical variable,
the column must contain values that match the values you used to
fit the model. Minitab stores the desirability values in the
column DESIR.
-
Random Forests® models, MARS®
models, and TreeNet® models store
values for rows with missing data. For other models, remove
missing data to perform the analysis.
