Invert a matrix

Complete the following steps to calculate the inverse of a square matrix.

  1. In Invert from, enter the square matrix that you want to invert.
  2. In Store result in, enter a number (for example, M1) or a name for the inverted matrix. If the name contains spaces, enclose the name in single quotation marks.
