Specify the type of design for Create Response Surface Design (Central Composite)

Stat > DOE > Response Surface > Create Response Surface Design

Complete the following steps to specify that you want to create a central composite design. You can click Display Available Designs to view characteristics of the central composite and Box-Behnken designs that Minitab creates.

In Type of Design, select Central composite.
In Number of continuous factors, select the number of factors with continuous scales to study.
In Number of categorical factors, select the number of factors with text levels to study.
Before Minitab creates the design, you must click Designs to specify other design characteristics.
