Complete the following steps if your data are in a column of the worksheet.

  1. From the drop-down, select One or more samples, each in a column.
  2. Enter the columns that contain the sample data. Minitab performs separate tolerance interval analyses on each column that you enter.
  3. In Minimum percentage of population in interval, enter the minimum percentage of the population that you want a two-sided tolerance interval to include, or a one-sided interval to be greater than (lower bound) or less than (upper bound).

  2. In Sample size, enter the number of observations in your sample.
  3. In Sample mean, enter the mean of your sample data.
  4. In Standard deviation, enter the standard deviation of your sample data.
  5. In Minimum percentage of population in interval, enter the minimum percentage of the population that you want a two-sided tolerance interval to include, or a one-sided interval to be greater than (lower bound) or less than (upper bound).
