Hypotheses for 1 Variance

For the 1 variance test, the hypotheses are as follows.
Null hypothesis
H0: σ2 = σ20 The population variance (σ) equals the hypothesized variance (σ0).
Alternative hypothesis
Select one of the following alternative hypotheses.
H1: σ2 ≠ σ20 The population variance (σ) differs from the hypothesized variance (σ0).
H1: σ2 > σ20 The population variance (σ) is greater than the hypothesized variance (σ0).
H1: σ2 < σ20 The population variance (σ) is less than the hypothesized variance (σ0).
