- The data must be numeric
- You must have continuous data, such as the weights of packages, or discrete data, such as the number of customer complaints. 
- The sample size should be at least 25 data points
-  If the sample size is too small, you might not have enough data points to accurately show the distribution of the data. Interpreting a plot with too few data points may lead to incorrect conclusions.
