Store statistics for Poisson Capability Analysis

Stat > Quality Tools > Capability Analysis > Poisson > Storage

You can save statistics from your analysis to the worksheet so that you can use them in other analyses, graphs, and macros. Minitab stores the selected statistics after the last column of data. The names of the storage columns end with a number that increases as you store the same statistic multiple times.

For more details on any of these statistics, go to All statistics and graphs.

Variable name
Store the name of the column of counts used for the analysis. Minitab stores the information in the column VarName1.
Mean Defective
Store the average number of items in your sample that are defective. Minitab stores the value in the column Defect1.
Lower bound for Mean Defective
Store the lower confidence bound for the mean defective. Minitab stores the value in the column LBDefect1.
Upper bound for Mean Defective
Store the upper confidence bound for the mean defective. Minitab stores the value in the column UBDefect1.
Mean DPU
Store the average number of defects per unit. Minitab stores the value in the column DPU1.
Lower bound for Mean DPU
Store the lower bound for the mean defects per unit. Minitab stores the value in the column LBDPU1.
Upper bound for Mean DPU
Store the upper bound for the mean defects per unit. Minitab stores the value in the column UBDPU1.
Minimum DPU
Store the estimated minimum number of defects that you can expect for each unit. Minitab stores the value in the column MinDPU1.
Maximum DPU
Store the estimated maximum number of defects that you can expect for each unit. Minitab stores the value in the column MaxDPU1.
Target DPU
Store the target defects per unit for your process. Minitab stores the value in the column TDPU1.
