Enter the input column or constant and optional storage

Choose Calc > Probability Distributions and select a distribution.

Select the input column or constant, and enter an optional storage location.

Input column
Select this option if the data that you want to evaluate are in a column, then enter the column.
Optional storage
Enter a storage column for the generated values. For the inverse CDF, Minitab stores the larger of the two values that are displayed.
If you store the values, look in the specified column in the worksheet, because the values are not displayed.
Input constant
Select this option if the data that you want to evaluate are in a constant, then enter the constant.
Optional storage
Enter a constant to store the generated value. For the inverse CDF, Minitab stores the larger of the two values that are displayed.
Minitab stores the calculated values as constants. To view the constants that are in a worksheet, choose Data > Display Data.
