Specify your variables for Create Gage R&R Study Worksheet

Complete the following steps to create a worksheet that includes the number of parts, the operators, and the replicates for your study.

To restore the default settings in the dialog box, press the F3 key.

  1. Specify the number of parts and the part identifiers.
    1. In Number of parts, enter the number of parts in your study. You can have from 2 to 100 parts.
    2. Under Part Name, use the default part numbers or type unique names to identify each part. You can use text, numbers, or any combination of both.
  2. Specify the number of operators and the operator identifiers.
    1. In Number of operators, enter the number of operators who measure parts. You can have as many as 50 operators.
    2. Under Operator Name, use the default numeric identifiers or type unique names to identify each operator. You can use text, numbers, or any combination of both.
  3. In Number of replicates, enter the number of times that you want to measure each part. You must have at least 2 replicates, but can have as many as 50 replicates.
