File > Options > Graphics > Frame Elements > Scales

Specify the default settings for scales on graphs. The changes you make to the defaults remain until you change them again, even after you exit Minitab.

Default settings for the attributes of the axis lines and tick marks

File > Options > Graphics > Frame Elements > Scales > Attributes

Lines: Specify the default type, color, and size (thickness) of axis lines.
Tick Orientation: Specify the default location of tick marks on graph scales.
Length of Major Ticks: Specify the default length of major tick marks on graph scales. The default is 0.006.

Default settings for the font of tick labels

File > Options > Graphics > Frame Elements > Scales > Font

Specify the default settings for the name, style, size, and color of the font of the tick labels.

Default settings for which scale elements to display

File > Options > Graphics > Frame Elements > Scales > Show

Specify the elements to display on the low and high sides of the x-scales and y-scales of graphs.
