Button

This special Global Data Item lets you know what the user clicked that caused the VL Event On Button Click Visual Logic event to occur.

The text Global Data Item name "Button" is automatically filled with text describing what the user clicked immediately before the On Button Click Visual Logic event occurs. This allows you to control how you wish your simulation to respond to the user's click.

For example the Button global data item may contain:

• The name of a custom dialog button
• The name of an on-spreadsheet button
• The name of an onscreen button
• The text "OK:sheetname" where "sheetname" is replaced by the name of a spreadsheet that was just closed via its OK button
