Specify specifications and other limits for each measure

You can specify the target values and specification limits or net content limits for each measure.

Go to the Components page and select a product. Then select the process flow step of your product.
Go to the Process Summary section to access the specifications for each measure.
In Limit Type, select Specification Limits or Net Content Limits.
Enter desired values for each measure.
Select Additional Settings to access more options for each measure.

All of the specification limits and net content limits are optional; however, if you do not specify the limits then Real-Time SPC cannot calculate capability metrics or % out-of-specification.

Note

Because T1 and T2 setpoints work together, if you specify one of them, you must specify both. Lower T2 must be less than Lower T1 and Upper T2 must be greater than Upper T1.
