Amounts, proportions, and pseudo-components scales for representing the data in a mixtures design

You can choose one of three scales to represent the data: amounts, proportions, or pseudo-components. With certain combinations of the mixture total and lower bound constraints, the scales are equivalent, as shown in the following table:
