After creating a design and storing it in a worksheet, you can use Display Design and Modify Design.
Display Design
Use Display Design to change how the design is displayed in the worksheet. Specifically, you can choose to display the factor levels in coded or uncoded form.
Modify Design
Use Modify Design to change the design in the worksheet, while making sure that the design stays in a format that Minitab can analyze.
For a static Taguchi design, you can make the following modifications:
- Change the names of factors and the values of the factor levels for the control factors in the inner array
- Add a signal factor
For a dynamic Taguchi design, you can make the following modifications:
- Change the names of factors and the values of the factor levels for the control factors in the inner array
- Ignore the signal factor (treat the design as static)
- Add new levels to the signal factor in an existing dynamic design
Where to find this analysis
When to use an alternate analysis
If you have a Taguchi design in the worksheet but cannot display or modify the design, first use Define Custom
Taguchi Design.
