Specify the type of design for Create 2-Level Factorial Design (Specify Generators)

Stat > DOE > Factorial > Create Factorial Design

Complete the following steps to create a 2-level factorial design with non-default design generators. You can click Display Available Designs to view characteristics of the 2-level factorial designs and Plackett-Burman designs that Minitab Statistical Software can create.

In Type of Design, select 2-level factorial (specify generators).
In Number of factors, select the number of factors for which you will not specify generators. For example, if you want to study 9 factors in all, you can select 5. Then, you specify generators to add 4 more factors.
Before Minitab creates the design, you must click Designs to specify other design characteristics.
