After you use Calculate Gap Pools, you need to allocate the gap pools.
In the worksheet, enter the column or columns that contain the allocation weights for the gap pools. The weights must be between 0 and 1, and must sum to 1.
If you enter only a lower specification for the gap, which is the default analysis, then Minitab calculates a mean pool. If you enter both upper and lower specifications for the gap, then Minitab calculates a variance pool. To see an example, go to Data sets that are used in Six Sigma module help.
