Store statistics for Nonparametric Capability Analysis

Stat > Quality Tools > Capability Analysis > Nonparametric > Storage

You can save statistics from your analysis to the worksheet so that you can use them in other analyses, graphs, and macros. Minitab stores the selected statistics after the last column of data. The names of the storage columns end with a number that increases as you store the same statistic multiple times.

The statistics that are available for storage depend on the options that you select for the analysis. For more details on any of these statistics, go to All statistics and graphs.

Process data statistics

Variable name
Store the name of the column of measurements used for the analysis. Minitab stores the information in the column VarName.
LSL
Store the lower specification limit. Minitab stores the value in the column LSL.
Target
Store the target of the process. Minitab stores the value in the column Target.
USL
Store the upper specification limit. Minitab stores the value in the column USL.
Median
Store the process median. Minitab stores the value in the column Median.
Mean
Store the process mean. Minitab stores the value in the column Mean.
StDev
Stores the standard deviation. Minitab stores the value in the column OStDev.
N
Store the sample size used for the analysis. Minitab stores the value in the column SampleN.

Overall capability statistics

Cnp
Store the overall capability measure Cnp. Minitab stores the result in the column Cnp.
Cnpl
Store overall capability measure for the lower specification limit, Cnpl. Minitab stores the value in the column Cnpl.
Cnpu
Store overall capability measure for the upper specification limit, Cnpu. Minitab stores the value in the column Cnpu.
Cnpk
Store the overall capability measure Cnpk. Minitab stores the value in the column Cnpk.

Observed performance statistics

PPM or % < LSL
Store the observed parts per million (or the observed percentage) less than the lower specification limit. Minitab stores the value in the column PPML. If you specify 1-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the upper confidence bound in UBPPML. If you specify 2-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the lower confidence bound in LBPPML and the upper confidence bound in UBPPML.
PPM or % > USL
Store the observed parts per million (or the observed percentage) greater than the upper specification limit. Minitab stores the value in the column PPMU. If you specify 1-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the upper confidence bound in UBPPMU. If you specify 2-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the lower confidence bound in LBPPMU and the upper confidence bound in UBPPMU.
PPM or % Total
Store the observed parts per million (or the observed percentage) outside the specification limits. Minitab stores the value in the column PPMT. If you specify 1-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the upper confidence bound in UBPPMT. If you specify 2-sided confidence intervals, Minitab stores the lower confidence bound in LBPPMT and the upper confidence bound in UBPPMT.
