Pareto Chart for Visualize Back-order Rate

Use Pareto Chart to visualize the common reasons for backorder rate.

Example

Backorder rate is the proportion of orders that cannot be filled when the customer orders them.

In this worksheet, Problem contains the reasons an order is on backorder. Supplier Location is the optional grouping variable. You can also use a frequency column.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Quality, select Back-order rate.
  3. Select Visualize back-order rate, then click OK.
  4. Select Pareto Chart, then click OK.
  5. In Defects or attribute data in, enter the column that contains the reasons for the backorder status.
  6. (Optional) In Frequencies in, enter the column that contains the counts of the summary data.
  7. (Optional) In BY variable in, enter the column that contains the group identifiers.
  8. Click OK.
