Use Bar Chart: Counts of Unique Values to compare reasons for backorder status across two or more categories.

Example

Backorder rate is the proportion of orders that cannot be filled when the customer orders them.

In this worksheet, Problem, Product, and Supplier Location are the categorical variables to plot.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Quality, select Back-order rate.
  3. Select Visualize back-order rate, then click OK.
  4. Select Bar Chart: Counts of Unique Values, then click OK.
  5. In Categorical variables (2-4, outermost first), enter the column that contains the reasons for backorder status and one to three additional columns of categorical data. The first variable is the outermost on the scale and the last variable is the innermost.
  6. Click OK.
