Heatmap Visualize Relationships With Days Sales Outstanding

Use Scatterplot to visualize days sales outstanding by multiple categorical variables.

Example

Days sales outstanding (DSO) is the average number of days to collect payment for a sale.

In this worksheet, DSO is the graph variable. Product is the row variable. Quarter and Auto Invoice are the column variables.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Cycle Time, select Days sales outstanding.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with days sales outstanding, then click OK.
  4. Select Heatmap, then click OK.
  5. From Display, select Function of a variable.
  6. In Graph variables enter the column that contains the days sales outstanding data.
  7. From Function, select the function of days sales outstanding. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap uses the mean value of days sales outstanding in each rectangle.
  8. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows.
  9. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns.
  10. Click OK.
