Use Bar Chart: Function of a Variable to visualize a function of days sales outstanding by one categorical variable.

Example

Days sales outstanding (DSO) is the average number of days to collect payment for a sale.

In this worksheet, DSO is the variable. Product is the categorical variable.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Cycle Time, select Days sales outstanding.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with days sales outstanding, then click OK.
  4. Select Bar Chart: Function of a Variable, then click OK.
  5. From Function, select the function of cycle time that you want to graph.
  6. In Graph variables (desktop app) or Y-variable (web app), enter the column that contains the days sales outstanding data.
  7. In Categorical variable, enter the column of categorical data that defines the groups.
  8. Click OK.
