Heatmap for Visualize Relationships With Cash-to-cash Cycle Time

Use Heatmap to visualize average cash-to-cash cycle time by multiple categorical variables.

Example

Cash-to-cash cycle time is the length of time between the purchase of raw materials and payment for a finished product.

In this worksheet, Number of Days is the graph variable. Product is the row variable. Region and Discount are the column variables.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Cycle Time, select Cash-to-cash cycle time.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with cash-to-cash cycle time, then click OK.
  4. Select Heatmap, then click OK.
  5. From Display, select Function of a variable.
  6. In Graph variables enter the column that contains the cycle time data.
  7. From Function, select the function of cycle time. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap uses the mean value of cycle time in each rectangle.
  8. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows.
  9. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns.
  10. Click OK.
