Heatmap for Visualize Relationships With Supply Chain Cost Per Unit

Use Heatmap to visualize supply chain cost per unit by multiple categorical variables.

Example

Supply chain cost per unit is the total supply chain costs divided by the number of units sold.

In this worksheet, Supply Chain Cost/Unit ($) is the graph variable. Product is the row variable. Auto Purchase Order and Shipping are the column variables.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Costs, select Supply chain cost per unit.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with supply chain cost per unit, then click OK.
  4. Select Heatmap, then click OK.
  5. From Display, select Function of a variable.
  6. In Graph variables enter the column that contains the supply chain cost per unit data.
  7. From Function, select the function of supply chain cost per unit. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap uses the mean value of supply chain cost per unit in each rectangle.
  8. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows.
  9. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns.
  10. Click OK.
