Use Bar Chart: Function of a Variable to visualize a function of supply chain cost per unit by one categorical variable.

Example

Supply chain cost per unit is the total supply chain costs divided by the number of units sold.

In this worksheet, Supply Chain Cost/Unit ($) is the graph variable. Auto Purchase Order is the categorical variable.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Costs, select Supply chain cost per unit.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with supply chain cost per unit, then click OK.
  4. Select Bar Chart: Function of a Variable, then click OK.
  5. From Function, select the function of supply chain cost per unit that you want to graph.
  6. In Graph variables (desktop app) or Y-variable (web app), enter the column that contains the supply chain cost per unit data.
  7. In Categorical variable, enter the column of categorical data that defines the groups.
  8. Click OK.
