Use Time Series Plot to visualize trends in inventory carrying costs.

Example

Inventory carrying cost is all the expenses related to the storage of unsold goods. You can record inventory carrying costs as a dollar amount or as a percentage of total inventory over a time period.

In this worksheet, Carrying Costs is the graph variable in time order.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Costs, select Inventory carrying cost.
  3. Select Visualize inventory carrying costs, then click OK.
  4. Select Time Series Plot, then click OK.
  5. In Series (desktop app) or Y-variable (web app), enter the column that contains the inventory carrying cost data.
  6. Click OK.
