Use Bar Chart: Function of a Variable to visualize a function of freight cost per unit by one categorical variable.

Example

Freight cost per unit is the total freight costs divided by the number of units shipped.

In this worksheet, Freight Cost/Unit ($) is the graph variable. Carrier is the categorical variable.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Supply Chain KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Costs, select Freight cost per unit.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with freight cost per unit, then click OK.
  4. Select Bar Chart: Function of a Variable, then click OK.
  5. From Function, select the function of freight cost per unit that you want to graph.
  6. In Graph variables (desktop app) or Y-variable (web app), enter the column that contains the freight cost per unit data.
  7. In Categorical variable, enter the column of categorical data that defines the groups.
  8. Click OK.
