Individuals-Moving Range Chart for Demonstrate Device Stability

Use Individuals-Moving Range Chart to monitor the stability of the mean and variation of measurements. To demonstrate that a measurement device is stable, plot individual measurements of a single part over time.

How-to

Choose Solutions Modules > Capabilities > Measurement System Analysis, then select Launch.
Under Stability Study, select Select a Stability Study.
Select Demonstrate Device Stability, then click OK.
Select Individuals-Moving Range Chart, then click OK.
In Variables enter the column that contains the measurement data.
Click OK.
