Individual Value Plot for Demonstrate Device Equivalence

Use Individual Value Plot to visualize whether the average measurements from two devices are similar.

In this worksheet, Measurement is the Y variable, and Device is the categorical variable.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Capabilities > Measurement System Analysis, then select Launch.
  2. Under Bias Study, select Select a Bias Study.
  3. Select Demonstrate device equivalence, then click OK.
  4. Select Individual Value Plot, then click OK.
  5. In Graph variables (desktop app) or Y-variables (web app), enter the column that contains the measurement data.
  6. To explore groups in your data, do one of the following.
    • In the desktop app, select Multiple Graphs. On the By Variables tab, enter the columns that define the groups.
    • In the web app, in Categorical variables (0-3), enter the columns that define the groups.
  7. Click OK.
