Example

In this worksheet, Wait Time Before contains the patient wait times before a process improvement. Wait Time After contains the patient wait times after a process improvement.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Wait Time dialog box, select 2-Sample t, then click OK.
  2. From the drop-down list, select Each sample is in its own column.
  3. In Sample 1, enter the column of wait times from before your process improvement.
  4. In Sample 2, enter the column of wait times from after your process improvement.
  5. Click Options. In Alternative hypothesis, choose Difference > hypothesized difference.
  6. Click OK.
