Capability Sixpack: Normal

Example

In this worksheet, Lab Turnaround Time is the data column.

From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Lab Turnaround Time dialog box, select Capability Sixpack: Normal, then click OK.
Under Data are arranged as, select Single column.
In Single column, enter the lab turnaround time column.
In Subgroup size, enter 1.
In Upper spec, enter the upper specification limit for the lab turnaround times. This is the highest lab turnaround time that is acceptable to your organization.
Click Transform, choose Box-Cox power transformation (W = Y^λ). (This step is not necessary if your lab turnaround times follow a bell-shaped pattern in the histogram.)
Click OK.
