Capability Sixpack: Normal

Example

In this worksheet, Claim Processing Time is the data column.

From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Claim Processing Time dialog box, select Capability Sixpack: Normal, then click OK.
Under Data are arranged as, select Single column.
In Single column, enter the claim processing time column.
In Subgroup size, enter 1.
In Upper spec, enter the upper specification limit for claim processing time. This is the highest claim processing time that is acceptable to your organization.
Click Transform, choose Box-Cox power transformation (W = Y^λ). (This step is not necessary if your claim processing times follow a bell-shaped pattern in the histogram.)
Click OK.
