Capability Sixpack: Normal

Example

In this worksheet, Bed Turnaround Time is the data column.

From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Bed Turnaround Time dialog box, select Capability Sixpack: Normal, then click OK.
Under Data are arranged as, select Single column.
In Single column, enter the bed turnaround time column.
In Subgroup size, enter 1.
In Upper spec, enter the upper specification limit for bed turnaround times. This is the highest bed turnaround time that is acceptable to your organization.
Click Transform, choose Box-Cox power transformation (W = Y^λ). (This step is not necessary if your bed turnaround times follow a bell-shaped pattern in the histogram.)
Click OK.
