How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Visualize Relationships with Length of Stay dialog box, select Heatmap, then click OK.
  2. In Graph variables enter the length of stay column.
  3. From Function, select the function of length of stay. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap will be based on the mean value of length of stay in each rectangle.
  4. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows. You must enter at least one column in either Row variables or Column variables. The columns can be text or numeric and must be the same length as the length of stay column.
  5. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns. You must enter at least one column in either Row variables or Column variables. The columns can be text or numeric and must be the same length as the length of stay column.
  6. Click OK.
