In this worksheet, Length of Stay is the response. Cost is the predictor and may explain differences in wait times.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Predict Length of Stay dialog box, select Fitted Line Plot, then click OK.
  2. In Response (Y), enter the length of stay column. The response is also called the Y variable.
  3. In Predictor (X), enter a column of numeric data that may explain or predict changes in length of stay. The predictor is also called the X variable.
  4. Click OK.
