How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Forecast Bed Utilization Rate dialog box, select Double Exponential Smoothing, then click OK.
  2. In Variable, enter bed utilization rates collected at regular intervals and recorded in time order. If your data are in multiple columns (for example, you have data for each year in a separate column), you must stack the data into a single column.
  3. Click OK.
