Example

In this worksheet, the Readmitted column contains the number of patients readmitted within 30 days of discharge. The Total column contains the total number of patients. Each row summarizes the data for a single time period and represents a subgroup.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Visualize 30-Day Readmissions dialog box, select P Chart, then click OK.
  2. In Variables, enter the column that contains the number of readmitted patients. Each row contains the number of readmissions over a specific time period, such as one week or one month.
  3. In Subgroup sizes, enter the column that contains the total number of patients over the same time period.
  4. Click OK.
