In this worksheet, Rating is the graph variable. Facility is the row variable. Condition is the column variable.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Visualize Relationships with Rating Scale Survey Responses dialog box, select Heatmap, then click OK.
  2. In Graph variables enter the survey response column.
  3. From Function, select the function of survey responses. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap will be based on the mean value of survey responses in each rectangle.
  4. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows. You must enter at least one column in either Row variables or Column variables. The columns can be text or numeric and must be the same length as the survey response column.
  5. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns. You must enter at least one column in either Row variables or Column variables. The columns can be text or numeric and must be the same length as the survey response column.
  6. Click OK.
