Example

In this worksheet, the Patient Days column contains the number of patient days. The Number of Falls column contains the number of falls that occurred during the same time period. Each row summarizes the data for a single time period and represents a subgroup.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Patient Falls dialog box, select Capability Analysis: Poisson, then click OK.
  2. In Defects, enter the number of falls column. Each row contains the number of falls for a certain time period.
  3. Choose Use sizes in and enter the column that contains the number of patient days for the same time period.
  4. Click OK.
