How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Treatment Costs dialog box, select Capability Sixpack: Normal, then click OK.
  2. Under Data are arranged as, select Single column.
  3. In Single column, enter the treatment costs column.
  4. In Subgroup size, enter 1.
  5. In Upper spec, enter the upper specification limit for treatment costs. This is the highest treatment cost that is acceptable to your organization.
  6. Click Transform, choose Box-Cox power transformation (W = Y^λ). (This step is not necessary if your treatment costs follow a bell-shaped pattern in the histogram.)
  7. Click OK.
