Example

In this worksheet, Reimbursement Amount is the response. Hospitalization Days is the predictor and may explain differences in the reimbursement amount.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Predict Reimbursement Amounts dialog box, select Fitted Line Plot, then click OK.
  2. In Response (Y), enter the reimbursement amount column. The response is also called the Y variable.
  3. In Predictor (X), enter a column of numeric data that may explain or predict changes in the reimbursement amount. The predictor is also called the X variable.
  4. Click OK.
