Example

In this worksheet, Number Denied contains the number of denied claims each week. Number of Claims contains the total number of claims each week. Each row summarizes the data for a single time period.

How-to

  1. From the Healthcare KPIs: Decrease Claim Denials dialog box, select Capability Analysis: Binomial, then click OK.
  2. In Defectives, enter the column that contains the number of denied claims. Each row contains the number of claim denials for one week or one month.
  3. Choose Use sizes in and enter the column that contains the total number of claims for the corresponding week or month.
  4. Click OK.
