Fitted Line Plot for Predict Average Call Length

Use Fitted Line Plot to use one continuous predictor to predict call length.

Example

Average call length is the average length of time an agent spends on a call.

In this worksheet, Call Length is the response. Hold Time Supervisor is the predictor and may explain differences in call length time.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Customer Contact Center KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Time Management, select Average call length.
  3. Select Predict average call length, then click OK.
  4. Select Fitted Line Plot, then click OK.
  5. In Response (Y), enter the column that contains the call length data. The response is also called the Y variable.
  6. In Predictor (X), enter a column of numeric data that may explain or predict changes in call length time. The predictor is also called the X variable.
  7. Click OK.
