Heatmap for Visualize Relationships With Rating Scale Survey Responses

Use Heatmap to visualize average survey response by multiple categorical variables.

Example

A rating scale survey question is one where the response can take on many values, such as 1–10 or 1–100.

In this worksheet, Rating is the graph variable. Department is the row variable. Issue and Call Center Location are the column variables.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Customer Contact Center KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Customer Satisfaction, select Rating scale survey.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with rating scale survey responses, then click OK.
  4. Select Heatmap, then click OK.
  5. From Display, select Function of a variable.
  6. In Graph variables enter the column that contains the survey responses.
  7. From Function, select the function of survey responses. For example, if you select Mean, the color gradient of the rectangles in the heatmap uses the mean value of survey responses in each rectangle.
  8. In Row variables enter up to five columns that define the rows.
  9. In Column variables enter up to five columns that define the columns.
  10. Click OK.
